About Peace Country Gospel Jamboree

Vision Statement

The “Peace Country Gospel Jamboree” was established, and exists today, to provide a gathering place for the people of the “Peace Country” area, and beyond—to come and hear and respond to the gospel of Jesus Christ, proclaimed through the songs being sung and the bible being preached.

It is the intention of the “Peace Country Gospel Jamboree Association” to present these events in a God honoring, Holy Spirit guided, family friendly way.

Some of the early years ...... and looking ahead......

         We found some old photos, news paper articles, posters, and programs that brought back many warm memories of the early years of the "Peace Country Gospel Jamboree". Looking through the photos we realize that some of the original committee and crew, that worked so hard each year to make it happen,   some of the band members, and some in the audience, are no longer with us, having moved on to a land that is fairer than ours. It was a blessing to have been part of their lives, part of their journey.
         You are all invited to join us as we continue this journey together.

The Jamboree is back at the "South Peace Centennial Museum" where it all started many years ago, now engaging a new generation of families & friends, music performers & music lovers, sinners & saints ( who, by the way, are essentially the same, yet profoundly different ), without leaving the past generation of pioneers and baby boomers behind, blending some of the new with the old, and always "holding fast" to the timeless truths in "God's Word".
